Alisa Johnson is a certified Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Bethel University and Grand Canyon University, and her Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.  Alisa is also a Certified Grief Informed Professional and Certified Clinical Specialist Provider for ADHD.

 

She provides services for individuals and families of all ages and from all walks of life through in-home and in an outpatient setting. Her current areas of focus are children/adolescents/adults, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, life adjustments and transitions, mood regulation, family conflict, self-esteem, healthy lifestyles, and effective communication. Alisa believes in a holistic approach to therapy where there is an integration of the mind, body, and spirit. She approaches therapy with a combination of compassion and empathy, knowing that each individual is a combination of their experiences, thoughts, and habits. She helps her clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how they contribute to their current functioning and can provide a better quality of life. Her passion is living a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise which can lead to a more balanced and wellness-focused life from the inside out.
 

Alisa is married and the mother to three boys. In her free time she trains for marathons,
scrapbooks, watches sports, enjoys cooking for her family, reading and research, and spending time with family and friends.
