Tim Johnson is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He received his Master’s at Fuller Theological Seminary & School of Psychology in California. Tim has been in private practice since 2010 and has been working with children, adolescents and families in the Willmar and surrounding community for over 28 years.
The focus of Tim’s work has been behavior and conduct disorders in children and adolescents, parenting skills, family relationships, marital and relationship therapy, anxiety, depression, identity and self-esteem, PTSD and trauma. Tim has pursued extensive training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Tim's therapy approach is based on common sense, mutual respect, impartiality, and humor. His hope is that anyone who meets with him will sense the passion that he has in helping others accomplish the goals for their life.
