Community Outreach Counseling

Jessica Waldemarsen is licensed as a LGSW working towards her licensure as a LICSW.  She received her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work from Winona State University.  

 

Jessica has worked with children, adolescents, and their families for several years in various settings such as foster care, school/preschool, youth programs and residential facilities.  She currently works with people of all ages from children to adults.  Jessica has worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, family dynamics and relationships, PTSD, trauma, and self-worth.  She has started training for her Play Therapy certification and enjoys working with young children who struggle with emotional and behavioral regulation.  Jessica has a fun and open connection to children.

 

Jessica has a direct and insightful approach to therapy.  She relates to her clients with compassion and understanding for all of life’s experiences; she helps navigate the hardships of everyday life.  Jessica directs her clients to look ahead to meaningful, positive change and fulfillment.  

 

Jessica is newly married and enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She spends her free time gardening, baking and playing piano.
