Brenda Wiese is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University with a major in Social Work and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Augsburg College.
Brenda's social work experience includes Intensive In-Home Family Therapy, Hospice, Grief Counseling, independent practice, and social work supervision. As a clinician she believes that one of the most important components of therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. Brenda will provide a warm, safe, supportive, and confidential environment through the use of a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques focused on each client's individual needs.
Brenda has experience with all ages from 3 through 108 specializing in grief and loss counseling, relationship concerns, parenting, self-esteem issues, trauma and abuse responses, PTSD, anxiety, depression, veterans and their families, and chronic and terminal illnesses.
Brenda is married, the mother of three daughters, and a grandmother.
